Decide orders UCLA to develop plan to guard Jewish college students
The College of California, Los Angeles, has been ordered by a federal choose to create a plan to make sure Jewish college students have equal entry to campus in collaboration with three Jewish college students who sued the college over antisemitism, the Los Angeles Occasions reported.
The order is available in response to the scholars’ June lawsuit, which alleged that the college performed a task in stopping them from accessing the campus freely throughout protests, after they had been blocked from getting into the pro-Palestinian encampment erected by protesters. The college argued that the protesters had been the one ones stopping Jewish college students from getting into that space.
UCLA and the plaintiffs have till Monday to agree on a plan.
The ruling comes after months of tumultuous protests on the UCLA campus.
