Together with Astound­ing Sci­ence Fic­tion and The Magazine­a­zine of Fan­ta­sy and Sci­ence Fic­tion, Galaxy Magazine­a­zine was one of the impor­tant sci­ence fic­tion digests in Nineteen Fifties Amer­i­ca.
